We welcome our parishioners to choose from the many available options to share their talents in the liturgical ministries of the parish.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion: lay men and women who assist with the distribution of Holy Communion at Masses. Special training, education, and ongoing formation are provided. Sincere respect and protocol are expected at all times. Register with the parish office.
Lectors/Readers: lay men and women who proclaim the Word of God at parish liturgies. Candidates must have basic reading skills and some ability to read in a public setting. A short briefing along with proper protocol will be provided. Register with the parish office.
Altar Servers:
Parents are asked to encourage their children to participate as Altar Servers. Training and guidance will be provided on an ongoing basis to make them as comfortable as possible in a public setting. Altar Servers are asked to serve daily and Sunday Masses on a rotating basis. Open to both boys and girls in fifth grade or above. Deacon Joe LaHood offers training for new servers each summer. Please contact the parish office for additional information.
Greeters: a team of men, women, and families who provide a positive impression while greeting arriving parishioners and visitors. Service oriented individuals with a smile are encouraged to register with the parish office.
Ushers: a team of men and women that assists in seating, collecting the offerings, and distributing bulletins.
