Human Concerns
The mission of the Human Concerns Commission is to discern the needs of the people of the parish and surrounding community and to meet these needs by enlisting members of the parish to volunteer their time and talents. Your membership and involvement in these committees will greatly enhance our Christian presence. Other opportunities to serve will be presented in the parish bulletin.
Caring Presence at the End of Life
This program offers parish support for someone who is terminally ill or dying and for members of the family. Trained volunteers from our parish are available to provide the following services: sit with the dying in their homes, a nursing home, or hospital room; provide prayers for persons in need and a link to the sacraments if required; provide a listening ear and a caring touch. Please contact us for further information or to make a referral.

Compassion Ministry
Holy Family has an established ministry to those who are homebound or in nursing homes. When requested, visitors bring communion to those unable to join the community on Sundays on a short or long–term basis. If you or a loved one in the parish cannot attend Mass regularly, please call for more information or to volunteer.

Elizabeth Ministry
Volunteers minister to families of the parish celebrating births and adoptions, or grieving infertility, miscarriage, and infant death. Members provide woman–to–woman support for parishioners during the childbearing years through personal visits, prayers, babysitting, carpooling, and preparing meals. Elizabeth Ministry coordinates monthly pregnancy blessings after weekend Masses, usually on the third Sunday of the month.

Mexican Mission Committee
The Mexican Mission Committee fosters support for our sister parish in Tlacoachistlahuaca, Mexico. Through an ongoing aluminum can drive, a spare change collection, an annual Mexican dinner, and periodic fundraisers, money is collected to address the needs of the mission parish. Several representatives of our parish have traveled to Immaculate Conception Parish in Tlacoachistlahuaca as "ambassadors of good will."

Rides to Mass
Volunteers offer to drive people in nursing homes and long–term care facilities to Mass each weekend at Holy Family. This service, when possible, is extended to all those who are homebound. Please call to volunteer or if you are in need of a ride to Sunday Mass.
